While cleaning out his grandfather’s garage, Kevin Shaffer discovered this old worn-down stereo cabinet destined for the dump and wondered if it was salvageable. After applying Old English polish and replacing the old electrical components, the stereo cabinet was revived. Little did Kevin know that this would turn into an interest in all things vinyl from collecting unique albums to creating Gatefold Jacket.
As Kevin began buying gatefold albums he was disappointed there wasn’t an album sleeve that allowed him to view the artwork in addition to protecting the cover. Thus Gatefold Jacket was born.
